Now is the time to join the Met and be a part of the strongest neighbourhood policing ever delivered for London.
Our police community support officers (PCSOs) are at the heart of the Met’s plan to build even stronger relationships with communities. So there’s no better time to join and make a difference every day to the lives of those who call London home.
Our plan is to recruit an additional 1,600 PCSOs across all London boroughs, to help us achieve our mission of more trust, less crime and high standards.
Key will be the connections you build working within and alongside communities. Relationships we know the public value the most. Relationships that solve crime, fix local problems, and have a positive impact on local people, working together to make them feel safer.
You’ll be a great communicator and calm under pressure. You’ll be able to work in partnership and as part of a team. You’ll uphold our values of courage, compassion, integrity, professionalism and respect, and meet our standards of behaviour.
