Anti‑social behaviour continues to impact the quality of life for residents, particularly levels of youth nuisance, street drinking, drug misuse, rowdy gatherings, and behaviour linked to intimidation or environmental damage. Repeat locations and individuals create ongoing concern and reduce public confidence.

To reduce anti‑social behaviour within the ward, increase resident confidence, and create safer, more respectful public spaces through targeted enforcement, problem‑solving, and early intervention.
Objectives:
Identify and address ASB hotspots through intelligence‑led patrols.
Tackle repeat offenders using appropriate powers and partnership interventions.
Support vulnerable residents and victims affected by persistent ASB.
Work with partners to prevent escalation and promote positive behaviour.

Violence Against Women and Girls - VAWG - Marlborough Safer Neighbourhood Team is committed in the reduction of violent crime including those crimes committed against women and girls. This will be achieved through joint working with partner agencies and proactive policing, alongside community engagement events and speaking to those directly living and working in Harrow.

Daily patrols of the ward whilst engaging with members of the community on their individual perception of their safety. Also gaining an understanding of the issues they have identified within the ward. Along with increased patrols on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Walk and Talk events held from the local tube stations during peak travel times, offering advice and the chance for community to express concerns.

Reduce incidents of shoplifting within local retail areas and improve offender identification, arrests, and retailer confidence.

Conduct regular walk-throughs of affected stores to reassure staff and deter offending.
Intelligence-Led Targeting:

Submit intelligence reports and circulate suspect descriptions on internal systems for wider awareness.
Partnership Engagement:
Liaise with store managers and security staff to improve reporting pathways and gather timely information.
Enforcement Activity:
Prioritise arrest of prolific offenders and those involved in organised retail crime.
