Harrow covers the towns of Harrow, Pinner and Stanmore as well as the western parts of Edgware and has a diverse community and a high level of community safety. Over a quarter of the borough is open space. There are many different faiths present, which can be seen with the selection of over 80 mosques, temples, synagogues and historic churches across the borough, including the Zoroastrian centre in Rayners Lane which is one of the main places for worship of people of the Zoroastrian faith in the country. Harrow also has a unique heritage, including Harrow School, and has several historical sites celebrating its Norman, Tudor and industrial past.
