Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

- Identify repeat locations of violence
- Increase patrols including hi visiblity patrols
- Work with partners including licencing and trading standards
- Identifying repeat offenders -
Priority:
Criminality and anti social behaviour linked to Drug offences including both use and supply.
Action taken:
-Increase patrols in identified areas of concern.
- Officers to utilise stop and search powers.
-Develop intelligence around known offenders. -

Targeting Venue that are suffering from repeated shoplifting and addressing the repeat offenders.
Action taken:
- Build relationship with staff at those premises identified to be suffering from high amount of retail theft.
- Increased and visible patrols around retail premises
- Working with neighbouring wards to identify cross border offenders
- Target known and repeated offenders.
