Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Charlton Village - Reduction in Crime and ASB happening within Charlton Village.
Action taken:
- Increase in patrols within specified areas.
- Utilizing stop and search powers in specified areas.
- Engagement with businesses in area to build intelligence.
- Identify repeat offenders and bring to justice. -
Priority:
Charlton Church Lane - Targeting Anti Social behaviour, including drug use including surroundings such as Floyd Road (CAFC), Charlton Train Station and business premises.
Action taken:
- Increase of patrols in area
- Combination of plain clothes and uniform patrols.
