We have met with key stakeholders with ASDA, along with representatives from the local authority and specialist officers from the Met.
Asda have agreed to make changes to the design and layout of the car park and access road
This will be a phased approach with initial works taking place on 15/12/24.
We have also been working with Asda to idenity those involved, and where possible to take appropriate enforcemnt or preventative action.
We have also tasked officers to the location to deter meets from taking place.
UPDATE
Following a meet on 11/01/25 we have taken the following enforcement action.
6 keepers issued with notification of intention to prosecute.
37 S59notices issued
18 warning letters sent
We continue weekly meetings with ASDA to review any meet which has taken place for enforcement opportunities.
