Robbery Reduction – Outside Ark Elvin Academy School, Best Western Hotel High Road Wembley junction Cecil Avenue.
Action taken:
• High visibility patrols deployed at school finishing times to deter robbery related behaviour and reassure young people.
• Engagement with students and parents to improve awareness of police reporting methods and encourage prompt reporting of incidents.
• Targeted patrols to deter groups congregating outside Ark Elvin Academy and the Best Western Hotel, where nuisance, annoyance and intimidation have been reported.
• Use of Stop and Search, where grounds exist, to disrupt individuals linked to robbery activity. -
Priority:
VAWG - To reduce the prevalence of Violence against women and girls around the transport hubs, Wembley High Street and Ealing Road.
Action taken:
• Aim to have 2 engagements per month (Walk, Talk and do)
• To have a visible presence around transport hubs, Wembley High Road and Ealing Road during peak times.
• Work with partner agencies for VAWG engagement and prevention.
