Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

VAWG - To reduce the prevalence of Violence against women and girls around the transport hubs, Wembley High Road and Ealing Road
Action taken:
Aim to have 2 engagements per month (Walk, Talk and do)
To have a visible presence around transport hubs, Wembley High Road and Ealing Road during peak time.
Work with partner agencies for VAWG engagement and prevention. -

Reducing Drug Use, Drug Dealing and Anti-Social Behaviour on Wembley High Road HA9
Action taken:
Stop and searches where lawful grounds exist for suspected drug possession, supply, or related offences.
Issue ASB warning notices, Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Community Protection Notices (CPNs) to individuals responsible for persistent anti-social behaviour.
Seize alcohol from individuals engaging in street drinking and anti-social behaviour within designated restricted areas where legislation permits.
Target prolific offenders through proactive patrols and partnership intelligence.
High visibility patrols to prevent deter offending. -
