Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Action taken:
The team took part in a month long operation in January resulting in 48 people being arrested for shoplifting offences.

Action taken:
Tackling ongoing ASB and DRUG issues with the High Barnet Ward. Overt and Covert Patrols regularly conducted to reduce this issue.

Action taken:
Utilise plain clothed patrols to target those using vehicles to commit crime across the ward. Using local information & intelligence to develop proactive operations targeting offenders.
