Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour with a focus on East Barnet Road, EN4. Officers will review and monitor figures, dates and times of reported incidents to better target patrols within that location with an aim to reduce the levels of ASB experienced.
Action taken:
Both uniform and plain clothed patrols are conducted in this area.

Data shows a spike in robberies occurring in Victoria Recreational Ground and surrounding road.
Action taken:
Targeted patrols conducted by officers. Joint working with Priority Crime Unit to identify and apprehend outstanding offenders.

Tackling burglary across the entirety of East Barnet ward
Action taken:
Target hardening campaign with crime prevention advice provided to residents to keep their homes secure. Joint working with the burglary unit to identify and apprehend known wanted burglary offenders.
