Youth violence linked to drug supply and exploitation remains a key concern. A safeguarding-focused approach is required to address the underlying causes and protect vulnerable young people.

- Work closely with youth services, schools, and safeguarding partners to provide early intervention and support
- Conduct intelligence-led stop and search activity where lawful and proportionate, ensuring community impact is considered
- Analyse local trends to identify drivers such as gang activity and drug networks, focusing enforcement on those responsible for exploitation
- Deliver targeted operations under Op Krythion to disrupt drug supply and associated criminality

Theft of Motor Vehicle

Incidents of motor vehicle theft continue to affect residents across Burnt Oak Ward, causing financial loss, inconvenience, and concerns regarding crime and community safety. Targeted action is required to deter offenders, protect vulnerable locations, and provide reassurance to residents.

Identify and target prolific vehicle crime offenders through intelligence-led policing and proactive investigations.

Conduct high-visibility patrols in vehicle crime hotspots, including residential roads, car parks, and areas with repeat offences.

Carry out targeted operations using ANPR and plain-clothed patrols to disrupt offenders involved in vehicle theft and associated criminality.
Provide crime prevention advice to residents, focusing on vehicle security measures such as steering wheel locks, Faraday pouches, key security, and secure parking.
