Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry

The Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry was set up to examine the causes and circumstances of the Grenfell Tower fire, and to identify lessons for the future.

It was conducted independently from the police investigation.

The Inquiry reported in two phases. Phase 1 focused on the events of the night of the fire. Phase 2 examined the history of Grenfell Tower and the causes of the fire.

Phase 1

Phase 1 examined the events of the night of the fire.

The Phase 1 report was published on 20 October 2019.
