Book a research appointment

Visits to our reference library and reading room can be made for Wednesdays. Bookings are available in January-July and September-December and need to be made at least a week in advance via an email.

Please include as many details as possible in your initial email (e.g. for research into an individual, their name, dates and places of birth and death, dates of starting and finishing with the Met, stations or units served in, if known).

Photo ID will be required on the day.
