Summary

PC Vieites-Stephenson answered the following allegations:

In June 2024, whilst off duty, PC Vieites-Stephenson accessed and displayed Metropolitan Police Body Worn Video (BWV) footage on a police-issued laptop to individuals who were not police officers and had no policing role or lawful authority to view the material.

Decision

The Chair of the proceedings, Commander Colin Wingrove, determined that the allegations were proven at the level of Gross Misconduct and that the Standards of Professional Behaviour had been breached, namely in respect of 'Discreditable Conduct', and 'Confidentiality'.

As a result, PC Jonathan Vieites-Stephenson was dismissed without notice and will now be added to the Barred List held by the College of Policing.
