As per the description above workforce planning cross-cuts several directorates in the MPS, utilising a variety of skills and expertise in running a large organisation.
The department of Strategy and Transformation oversee the workforce organisational design. Data analysis being provide by both DDAT and from a smaller cell within the HR Directorate.
The workforce supply planning is managed in the HR Directorate; their key personnel in managing the workforce supply are the HR Deputy Director, AD People Performance and Head of Workforce Planning
What software, if any, does the police force use to support them with workforce planning?
A variety of software will be utilised in the various Directorates, with all having access to the suite of application under Microsoft Officer 365.
