I note you seek access to the following information:

Can I please request an ethnic breakdown for suspect and victim for total crime broken down annually in the past 20 years. If this does not work, I can settle for the past 10 or 5. Happy to conform to the FOI's time limit and budget.

Can I please request an ethnic breakdown for suspect and victim by each individual crime totalled to the past 3/2/1 years.

Happy to conform to the FOI's time limit and budget for the latter half.

Date Range
The recorded Data was set to 1 January 2018 to 30 November 2023.

Definition:
Account of Victims and a count of Suspects for Total Notifiable Offences (classified and confirmed offences notifiable to the Home Office) broken down by Ethnic Appearance.

Caveats:
You originally requested data for the last 20 years, this would be a cost refusal, so a full 5 years has been provided as this was able to be completed within cost.
