Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

A-Targeted enforcement operations and reassurance patrols conducted to disrupt and deter.
R- Overall reduction in violent crime.

Squat related ASB.
Action taken:
S - Squats being reported as a significant ASB issue on the ward.
M- Multiple reports for the same properties collated so addresses can be targeted.
A-Units to be deployed with partners to ensure the squats are cleared and secured to prevent re-entry. Closure Orders to be applied for where activity continues.
R- A reduction in related Anti-Social Behaviour.
T- To be assessed at each ward panel meeting

Action taken:
S - Burglary hot spots identified through police intelligence
M – Patterns identified to inform local patrols and disruption operations
A – Targeted patrols and operations within hot spots. Criminal Behaviour Orders to be applied for, targeting repeat offenders.
R- To reduce burglary on the ward.
T - Will be reviewed at next ward panel meeting.
