E-Scooter and illegal bike activity - Traffic Offences.
S - To reduce the ASB caused by illegal scooters and similar vehicle offences.
M - NPT will look at MetInsights and other data to identify reported offending patterns, cross referenced with local knowledge and public information to identify hot spots and frequent offenders.
A - Meeting arranged with food delivery companies, to highlight the sometimes reckless riding of bikes, motorbikes and scooters by their drivers whilst delivering food. Days of action have been arranged to enforce the legislation around electric bikes. Educate riders and Seize where necessary.
R - This issue has been raised by local BIDS, WCC and local residence, as a priority due to the criminality and ASB they cause.
T - This will be reviewed 6 weekly, to monitor effectiveness.Action taken:
Static operations on Baker street standing on the junctions which has reduced ASB and cycle offences from Deliveroo riders.
Community engagement meetings with residents and council to address Deliveroo issues.
E- scooter operations conducted where several e-scooters have been seized -

Burglary
Our officers will visit each and every victim of burglary in person, and offer crime prevention advice and reassurance. Each address will be 'cocooned' .We will share specific figures in relation to offenders charged with burglary offences at our private and public ward panel meetings.

Our team will work with specialised units to share and build on intelligence in order to identify trends, and offenders.

Our team will conduct plain clothes operations in shoplifting hotspots to target repeat offenders.
We will work alongside our street security partners in order to share and build on intelligence and emerging trends.
Intel share with BIDs to identify repeat victims and offenders.
Use ASB legislation where appropriate to deter offenders.
We want to offer support to independent businesses, which are effected by theft the most.Action taken:
Plain clothes patrols and operations.
Complete work on CBOs, CPW/CPNs for offenders who come to notice on repeat occasions
