To reduce Robbery and Violence related offences within the areas of Northcote Road, and around Shellgate Rd, and Clapham Common.

Priority is to reduce Residential Burglaries throughout the Northcote ward (most common types - slip lock & sash window offences).

Accessing various streams of intelligence-based resources to direct and define a patrol strategy for officers to identify locations for patrols and potential offenders. DWO’s will conduct High visibility patrols and promoting of crime prevention through social media and engagement with Businesses & residents.

Priority 3 – Motor Vehicle Crime .
Vehicle crimes on Northcote ward are prominent in mainly centre of Northcote where high end vehicles have been identified.

Officers will carry out directed patrols such as Operation Sensor in order to reduce MV crime within the ward. Patrolling officers will identify insecure vehicles, and valuables left on show, and given advice around motor vehicle security. Community engagement, include delivering CPA, officers carry our reassurance visits to repeat victims of crime. Crime prevention leaflet drops in those areas targeted by criminals, and advice around including faraday porches and steering locks.
Working in partnership with other local wards to identify offenders through research of niche methods used to commit specific crime.
