Residents are concerned about the speed of e-bikes in the area and believe they present a safety risk. Delivery riders and other e-bikes users frequently travel at high-speed increasing the likelihood of an accident or injury.

Discussed how to stay safe and report incidents/crime to police.
On 12 December 2025 officers have arranged a walk/talk event at St James Station with local councillors -

Officers have increased patrols within the hotspots over the past 3 months, this is an on going issue and a dedicated officer will now review overnight crimes and conduct enquires to identify offenders.
