Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

GEOFF CADE WAY, E3 - Residents reported a number of ASB and drug related offences. They reported the possibility that vulnerable young individuals were being taken advantage of and coerced into criminality.
Action taken:
Mile End SNT will conduct regular proactive patrols in the area, engaging with the community and targeting those committing criminal offences. We will work alongside partner agencies to help safeguard any individual that may require assistance.

HAMLETS WAY, E3 - Residents have reported a number of non residential burglaries targeting bike stores / bike sheds.
Action taken:
Officers will conduct regular foot patrols in the area, ensuring entrances to bike storage areas are properly secured. Contact will be made with building management services to ensure broken locks are fixed.

LANSBURY ESTATE, E14 - Residents report a variety of ASB, drug related offences, noise related issues and dogs being allowed to roam the estate.
Action taken:
Officers from Mile End SNT will continue to conduct high visibility and plain clothes patrols in this area, increased patrols in the evening and collaborative work with partners such as Park Guard. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting offences to assist officers with times of offences and possible offenders.
