Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Concerns have been raised by the community regarding drug use and fear of crime in The Green open space and surrounding area in Sutton.
Action taken:
Targeted high visibility patrols in the area.
Intelligence led stop and search used when appropriate.
Joint working with local partners to target persons responsible and increase visibility and reassurance in the area. -
Priority:
Concerns have been raised by the community regarding key locations in Sutton including Rosehill Park. There has been a wide range of behaviours raised, including drug-use, fly-tipping and vandalism.
Action taken:
Targeted high visibility and plain clothes patrols.
Intelligence led Stop and Search in Rosehill Park.
Officers to complete Community Events within Sutton North Ward to engage with the local community and discuss concerns with local residents. -
Priority:
Violent crime in and around Collingwood Recreation Ground and fear of crime in the Greenshaw Woods area which has affected the community.
Action taken:
Targeted Patrols in Collingwood Recreation Ground and cooperation with Sutton Central in policing the Collingwood Estate and Chaucer Gardens. Intelligence led Stop and Search used where appropriate.
