Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Burglary - To proactively patrol areas in relation to Burglary. Carry out crime prevention activity to raise awareness of burglary happening in the area
Action taken:
Officers will review all crime reports to identify key times and locations of burglaries. Officers will continue to visit each victim of burglary and deliver letters to neighbours to raise awareness.

Theft of and from Motor Vehicle - To proactively patrol areas in relation to vehicle crime. Carry out crime prevention activity to raise awareness of vehicle theft happening in the area
Action taken:
Officers will review all crime reports to identify key times and locations of vehicle theft. Officers will continue to visit each victim of vehicle theft and deliver letters to neighbours to raise awareness.

Anti-social behaviour Stonecot Hill - Patrols to target youth ASB in the vicinity of Asda, Stonecot Hill
Action taken:
Officers will work with businesses in the area to identify perpetrators of ASB and issue ASB warnings. If perpetrators are children then officers will work with schools officers to identify them and contact their parents to make them aware
