Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We have been carrying out reassurance patrols across the ward. We have also been providing mobile phone crime prevention advice.

Drug taking in stairwells of estates across ward. Proactive patrols of hot spot areas.
Action taken:
We have been carrying out patrols of stairwells on various blocks on the estates across the ward.

Targeting ASB on the ward. Engaging with partners and the public in order to increase trust and confidence.
Action taken:
We have been dealing with various types of ASB and working with our partner agencies such as Southwark Council and Housing Associations to resolve these issues including neighbour disputes.
