Borough and Bankside

Officers will be conducting high-visibility patrols in areas identified as hotspots for anti-social behaviour (ASB) and drug-related activity. The Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will take firm enforcement action against those responsible to help create a safer and more welcoming community.

Patrols to be conducted at key times to target and identify offenders. Officers to conduct patrols later at night.

Borough & Bankside SNT will be prioritising theft-related offences across the ward, focusing on investigating shoplifting incidents and carrying out targeted operations to address them. Additional initiatives will also be undertaken to tackle other forms of theft and reduce crime in the area.

Identify and arrest suspects concerned in theft offences.

With the autumn/winter nights, we will increase proactivity around Violence Against Women and Girls - This encompasses Robberies, Shoplifting, Harassment, ASB, Spiking and all other elements of VAWG
