Street briefing on the roads affected to find out if there are any unreported crimes.

  • Priority:

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Drug Activity.
The ward priorities were discussed at the last ward panel meeting which took place on the 11th March 2026. Residents reported of ASB and Drug use on around Northumberland Avenue, St. Gabriels Close, Clavering Road, Wanstead Park Ave and Queenswood Gardens. Targeted patrols will be conducted on hotpot areas to deter these activities. This priority will be reviewed at the next ward panel meeting on the 10th June 2026.

    Issued 11 March 2026

    Action taken:

The ward priorities were discussed at the last ward panel meeting which took place on the 11th March 2026. The ward panel have decided to change the priority from Burglaries to ASB/ Drug use at particular hotspots on the ward. This decision was made as Burglaries are an existing priority for the REDBRIDGE borough and remains an important issue for the MET police. It was agreed that specific problems to the ward should take priority. This will be reviewed at the next ward panel meeting which is taking place on the 10th June 2026.

Extra patrols of the affected streets at the specific times they have been reported in a covert manner & high visibility patrols. Partnership working with the council to make residents aware of crime prevention tactics plus provide reassurance.

S - Reduce ASB and drug use.
M - Use crime statistics to measure crimes occurrence
A - Target areas of known offences and surrounding streets. High Visability patrols and partnership working.
R - Councillors, members of the public and crime statistics have identified these hotspots.

  • Priority:

    Motor vehicle Theft & Interference

The ward priorities were discussed at the last ward panel meeting which took place on 11th March 2026. The ward panel have decided to keep the priorities the same. This will be reviewed at the next ward panel meeting which is taking place on the 10th June 2026.

    Issued 11 March 2026

    Action taken:

This priority remains the same as the past ones due to being ratified by the most recent ward panel as it is still a concern that the residents feel SNT should be focusing on:
Reduce theft of motor vehicle & theft from motor vehicle on key streets on the ward (Woodlands Avenue and the road surrounding Warren Road) over the next three months. In accordance with problem orientated policing.
SNT officers will also conduct high visibility patrols and covert patrols from unmarked vehicles. We host regular events to offer crime prevention advice such as street briefings, crime stalls, and cuppa with coppa. We also plan operations such as Op Moberly to proactively reduce MV crime.

S - Reduce ASB and drug use.
M - Use crime statistics to measure crimes occurrence
