Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Violence Related Priority

Conduct high-visibility foot & mobile patrols, hold street briefings across any affected areas, issue leaflet dropping locally and provided reassurance to the local community. The team will also conduct school patrols at St Andrews Catholic School, Seven Kings School, St Margret’s Church and Ley Street.

Motor-Vehicle Related Crime

Conduct high-visibility patrols and covert patrols where shift allow, targeting prolific motor-vehicle offenders across the ward and reassuring the community by cocooning addresses affected by MV related crime. The team will also holding street briefings in hotspot crime affected areas, providing the community with bespoke advice and support around securing their vehicles.

Residential Burglaries

Conduct high-visibility & cover patrols where shifts allow to patrol within potentially vulnerable areas for burglaries, ensuring that burglaries are limited/reduced or not being committed. This will be assisted by conducting regular street briefing, not only giving assurance to the residence, but also making them aware of how to better secure their homes and properties.
