Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
I have been attached to Aldborough SNT since the commencement of my service in 2006. There have been many changes to the local area and the community, but there are strong values at its core. I am extremely proud to work so closely with so many of our community leaders with the vision of making Aldborough ward safer and more cohesive.
Since 2022, I have been the operational commander for 'Operation Moberly' - Redbridge's Motor Vehicle Crime reduction initiative and I am extremely proud to have created a strategy that has been implemented borough-wide and has been extremely successful in reducing both theft of motor vehicle and theft from motor vehicle.
I hope that the positive effects of the work that goes on behind the scenes and out and about in our community are felt by our residents and communities.

Violence Related Priority
Officers have been made aware that there are numerous thefts from shops at MANFORD WAY shopping parade. SNT to work alongside business owners and identify suspects who have become violent whilst offending.Violence against women and girls (VAWG)
Action taken:
Actions – To Patrol Manford Way shopping parade - Target known violent offenders and deter potential offenders at the locations in question.
VAWG patrols along Manford way and surrounding area due to high footfall as main shopping area. Prevention advice and walk and talks to be organise to help women and girls tell police of issues in the area -
Priority:
Burglary - After our recent Ward Panel members agreed burglary /motor vehicle crime patrols were a priority for the Team.
Action taken:
Actions – To patrol known burglary/vehicle crime hotspots on Hainault Ward – Newly built Estate Five Oaks Lane Hainault to be included in patrols.

Drug use and ASB
There have been a number of reports and complaints from local residents of drug offences on the ward.
Specific areas in question are Manford Way shopping parade, surrounding roads and linked alleyways.Action taken:
Actions - Officers to carry out targeted patrols of areas known for drug dealing/taking and gather intelligence from local residents. Officers to build warrants where possible and remove drugs from the streets of Hainault.
