Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

The Seven Kings Health Care Centre and Salisbury Road are area's highlighted as concerns regarding homelessness and violence/drugs
Action taken:
High visibility patrols and use of ASB powers to deal with any issues found. Joint partnership work with Redbridge Enforcement to keep the area cleaner to prevent further issues.
VAWG walk and talk events to be carried out and advertised. -
Priority:
ASB across the ward with focused area's on open spaces like Goodmayes Park which has been highlighted as a problem area
Action taken:
High Visibility patrols of Goodmayes Park and joint patrols with Park Guard and using ASB powers to deal with any issues.

Priority:
High motor vehicle crime rates where vehicles are broken into for valuables left in vehicle or vehicles being stolen by organised crime groups
Action taken:
Crime prevention advice to be given during community meetings (i.e. cuppa with a copper) as well as door-2-door whilst on foot patrol in these areas.
Regular visits to car parks and open spaces, Patrols in areas of concern and done via intelligence gathered.
