Rough sleepers engaged in begging in the area are causing residents to feel in fear of their safety when using the underpass at the A12 Redbridge Roundabout.

Officers are regularly patrolling the affected area and dealing robustly with offenders and also working alongside the council to support vulnerable individuals to give them the support they require.
There has been a positive response from residents, noting an improvement from the community who use the underpass and station.
