Tackling crime & anti-social behaviour in the High Road and Grove Farm retail park area

The safer neighbourhood team has identified the High Road & Grove Farm retail park area as a local policing priority due to concerns raised by residents & local business in relation to crime and anti social behaviour.
Our focus is on reducing offences including shoplifting, theft, vehicle crime, anti social behaviour, and incidents of violence associated with the increased footfall in this area. Officers will carry out high-visibility patrols at key times and engage with local businesses & retailers to identify emerging issues and work in partnership with security staff, local authorities & community groups to disrupt offending and improve public confidence.

Reducing motor vehicle crime

The safer neighbourhood team has identified motor vehicle crime as a local policing priority following reports of theft from & theft of motor vehicles within the area.
Our aim is to reduce offences involving the theft of vehicles, theft from unattended vehicles & the targeting of vehicle parts through a combination of prevention, enforcement & partnership working. Officers will conduct targeted patrols in identified hotspot locations, particularly during peak offending times, & will use crime data & intelligence to identify patterns, repeat locations & prolific offenders
