VAWG - Violence Against Women and Girls
Violence against Woman and Girls is a growing priority in the Met Police. This is due to growing concerns around woman and girls and their safety in London.

- Conducting targeted patrols in and around the development which will include a mixture of high visibility and plain clothed patrols.
- The team will do community engagements – including using the Merton Cadet Unit (girls) to walk and Talk, Coffee mornings, leaflet drops to engage with the community.

-Issues and engagements logged on MPS system – PMP
-Message and updates on Met engage – using the system to send relevant alerts and messages to relay to residents.

ASB at Moffatt Court
Concerns have been raised in regards to the youth ASB occurring in and around Moffatt Court. Due to these concerns we will focus on ASB and that linked to drugs in the vicinity of the development.

Shoplifting
Work in collaboration with local businesses to assist investigations, deliver effective crime prevention advice and foster a community in which staff members are safeguarded and protected.

M- Measured through attendance and engagement with police, crime prevention programmes, and other local businesses. Measured by crime statistics and offenders prosecuted
A – Hi-Vis/Plain Clothes patrols are the area. Provide security advice to newsletter to be distributed to the resident’s associations
R – Relevant due to rise in retail crime both locally, and in line with both force and national priority.
T – Forum will be developed over a longer period of time, but engagement with businesses means that the implementation should be relatively quick.
