Anti-social behaviour in parks and open spaces
Issued 03 March 2026
ASB is an on-going local concern in parks and open spaces.
There has been a decrease in the number of reported incidents of such behaviours over the recent winter months, this often happens with colder and wetter weather, however as we move towards the spring this picture can change.
Local officers will continue to patrol parks and open spaces and combat criminality and Anti-social behaviour in those locations where present.
We will work in partnership with council ASB officers in affected areas to route out any identified concerns and identify those responsible, and use preventative legislation (via the early intervention scheme) to reduce anti-social behaviour.
