Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

The reduction of drug related ASB.
Location: Ringstead Road and Rushey Green.Action taken:
- Working with partners to provide support for drug users.
- Increased patrols to provide a deterrence around problematic locations.
- Issuing Community Protection Warnings/Notices to persistent drug related ASB offenders.
- Collaborative working, to help reduce drug supply offences. -

Drug related retail offences.
Location: Winslade Way and Rushey Green.Action taken:
- Uniformed patrols within retail venues, to prevent theft offences.
- Plain clothed operations within high theft retail locations, to identify and prosecute serial offenders.
- Drug diversion work with partners.
