Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Anti Social Behaviour perpetrated within specific areas of the ward

Obtaining Closure Orders for residential premises with continued issues
Conducting home visits/reassurance patrols
Joint PSPO patrols with council
Working closely with partners (council, registered social landlords and social services) to support and manage complex cases -

Acquisitive Crime Prevention
Crimes which include Theft (including Theft of Motor Vehicle), Burglary and Robbery
Action taken:
Targeted Hi-Vis Foot Deployments at times when offences occur
Reassurance visits of all burglary victims
Drop In Surgeries arranged with regularity
Crime Prevention advice distributed
