Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Theft from Motor Vehicle and theft of them. High visibility patrolling during the day giving crime prevention advice to owners of vehicles most at risk.
Action taken:
Patrol in hot spot areas to deter suspects and to target suspects and recently conducted a motor vehicle OP in the area to combat these offences.

ASB
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), drugs and their related offences and because there is a nationwide and local spike in shoplifting offences, resident agreed for shoplifting to be part of ASB priority. We are working to engage with stores to improve reporting as local officers are now investigating these crimes.Action taken:

Shoplifting
Action taken:
Conduct high-visibility patrols in identified hotspot locations and retail areas to deter shoplifting offences.
Work with local retailers to improve intelligence sharing, reporting, and crime prevention measures.
Identify and target prolific offenders through partnership working and enforcement activity.
Provide crime prevention advice to businesses regarding CCTV, store layout, and staff awareness.
Monitor incidents and analyse trends to direct patrols and resources effectively.
