Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Tackle retail crime and target prolific offenders who live and offended on the ward.
Action taken:
Range of tactics including uniformed patrols, plain clothes operations to investigate and arrest outstanding Theft and Robbery suspects who live or offend in Holloway.

Reduce Drug Anti-Social Behaviour taking place on and around the Lorraine Estate, Pollard Close, Biddestone Park and Penn Road area.
Action taken:
Conduct regular high visibility patrols to deter and disrupt ASB activity. Look to issue a range of preventative and control measures such a Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices.

Priority:
Tackle ASB and Crime associated with E Bike and E Scooters that are being ridden dangerously on the roads and pavements in Holloway.
Action taken:
Work independently and with the Vehicle Enforcement Team to proactively deal with the illegal use of E Bikes and E scooters, by seizing Bikes, Scooters and processing illegal riders with Fixed Penalty Notices and or court proceedings.
