Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

To reduce violence in ward hotspots such as CAMDEN ROAD and surrounding areas
Action taken:
Regular patrols are being conducted, particularly in afternoon/ evening when violence and ASB is reported to be taking place.

Joint partnership initiative with Islington community safety team to tackle Thefts from Motor Vehicles on the Ward.
Action taken:
A range of tactics from increased patrols, community engagement / crime prevention advice, property marking events to help identify and retrive any property seized from criminal arrests. Extra camera's are to be installed at various locations throughout the ward to help deter and identify any criminal activity.

To reduce drug use and subsequent ASB taking place in around Williamson St, Parkhurst Rd, Trefil Walk
Action taken:
Conduct regular high visibility patrols, To disrupt and deter drug use and ASB. Increase use of Stop/Search of identified persons causing ASB.
