Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Violence and ASB - There have been reports of 'unsafe' areas across the Chiswick Gunnersbury ward by representatives from the ward panel meeting and residents. At this current time, preventing Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is the Mets leading priority and as such this is going to be a leading priority for Chiswick Homefields.
Action taken:
Any vulnerable areas identified by 'StreetSafe' will be tackled with high-viz patrols and other reassurance crime prevention methods. These behaviours are often linked to ASB

Priority:
We are aware of community concerns in relation to high levels of shoplifting, as well as robberies and burglaries occurring in commercial premises.
Action taken:
We will continue to target known offenders and have officers conducting regular high visibility and plain clothes patrols.

Priority:
Drug dealing and use is linked to wider crime including theft and gang violence. Drug hotspots are being identified with view of a targeted approach.
Action taken:
We are working to identify drug dealers and users and will take a targeted approach using prevention and intervention whilst supporting vulnerable persons.
