Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Patrolling the local areas including subways during the hours young people leave school.

To disrupt and deter drug users taking and leaving their drug paraphernalia in public areas
Action taken:
Concentrate on resolving Drug complaints caused by users consuming their drugs in public view, including littering of used paraphernalia by issuing appropriate orders

To disrupt, deter and educate those driving the electric pedal bikes anti-socially and dangerously.
Action taken:
Patrols to be completed on a regular basis during our shifts whereby those found to be driving anti-socially to be engaged and their bikes to be examined to confirm if legal or to be classed as a Mechanically propelled vehicle.
