Peddle enabled theft/snatches of mobile phones - Park Road in the vicinity of Highgate Wood School.

During periods of release of new models of phones, as well as during school holidays and school finishing times, we often see a spike in snatches of mobile phones with children often being targeted. When available, officers will be patrolling after school finishing times to prevent these offences.

Shoplifting/Thefts - Rise in theft/shoplifting offences on Broadway N8.

Plain clothed patrols in Crouch End Broadway - Focusing on the area between number 1 - 11 Crouch End Broadway (Boots to Waitrose). Officers have been successful recently in apprehending shoplifters when patrolling in plain clothes.

Theft from motor vehicle -WESTON PARK

In recent weeks, we have seen an increase in thefts from motor vehicles, often in order to steal parcel shelved. High visibility and plain clothes patrols are to be carried out during the hours of when the offences are being committed with the main goals being to reduce the crime, deter and process the offenders involved.
