Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Targeting Theft From Motor Vehicles Offenders and offences.

We are committed to reducing the amount of theft from motor vehicles on the ward, we will be conducting high visibility patrols to deter offenders and plain cloths patrols to identify bring offenders to justice. We are working with partner agencies to increase patrols and will be liaising with community safety teams and LET officers from the local authority. We will be offering crime prevention information via our new engagement portal and face to face events.

Targeting Drug related ASB offenders and offences on the ward.

We are continuing to target known drug supply offenders and utilising stop and search powers and arrest powers where applicable. We have been and will continue to conduct high visibility patrols in areas where the issues have been identified and working with partner agencies to reduce ASB offences resulting from drug use.
