  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

To robustly deal with drug users who are frequenting the area bordered by Dawes Road, Munster Road, Rylston Road and Lillie Road during daytime hours.

    Issued 17 August 2026

    Action taken:

Specific: Reduce drug use and associated anti-social behaviour within the area bordered by Dawes Road, Munster Road, Rylston Road and Lillie Road during daytime hours. This will be achieved through targeted high-visibility patrols, engagement with drug users, intelligence gathering, the use of stop and search powers where grounds exist, and positive action against identified offences.

Measurable: Conduct regular patrols at identified hotspot locations over a 3-month period. Monitor drug-related incidents, reports of anti-social behaviour, stop and search activity, community intelligence submissions, and positive outcomes including arrests, community resolutions, and referrals to support services where appropriate.

Achievable: Utilise neighbourhood policing resources to carry out targeted patrols during peak daytime periods, work with partner agencies to address repeat issues, and encourage residents, businesses, and local stakeholders to report concerns to assist with enforcement activity.

Relevant: Drug use in public spaces contributes to anti-social behaviour, public disorder, and community concerns regarding safety. Tackling this issue supports the Metropolitan Police Service's objectives of reducing crime and harm, improving public confidence, and maintaining safe public spaces for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Time-bound: Implement over a 3-month period, with progress reviewed monthly and a formal assessment presented to Ward Panel members at the next Ward Panel meeting.

    Actioned 30 November 2026

  • Priority:

To proactively target drug dealers who are operating during daytime hours between and including Dawes Road, Munster Road, Rylston Road and Lillie Road.

    Issued 17 August 2026

    Action taken:

Specific: Proactively disrupt and deter individuals involved in the supply of controlled drugs during daytime hours within the area bounded by and including Dawes Road, Munster Road, Rylston Road and Lillie Road. This will be achieved through targeted patrols at identified hotspot locations, intelligence-led policing, engagement with local businesses and residents, and taking positive enforcement action against those involved in drug dealing.

Measurable: Increase high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols within the target area over a 3-month period. Monitor intelligence submissions, community reports, stop and search activity, arrests, charges, and other positive outcomes linked to drug dealing. Review recorded drug-related incidents and enforcement activity monthly.

Achievable: Utilise local neighbourhood policing resources, partner agency engagement, and community intelligence to identify offenders, direct patrols effectively, and carry out enforcement opportunities as they arise. Encourage residents and businesses to continue reporting suspicious activity to support police action.

Relevant: Drug dealing contributes to crime, anti-social behaviour, exploitation, and community harm. Proactively targeting those involved in the supply of drugs supports the Metropolitan Police Service's objectives of preventing crime, protecting vulnerable people, and improving safety and public confidence within the ward.

Time-bound: Implement over a 3-month period, with progress reviewed monthly and a formal evaluation presented to Ward Panel members at the next Ward Panel meeting.

    Actioned 30 November 2026

  • Priority:

To proactively tackle violent crime within the ward to safeguard individuals, business and properties.

    Issued 17 August 2026

    Action taken:

Specific: Reduce violence-related offences, including assault, robbery, and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), by focusing on identified hotspot locations through targeted patrols, intelligence-led operations, engagement with residents and businesses, and robust action against offenders.

Measurable: Conduct regular high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols in violence hotspots over a 3-month period. Monitor reports of violent crime, arrests, stop and search activity, intelligence submissions, and community feedback to assess impact.

Achievable: Utilise neighbourhood policing resources, supported by proactive policing teams and partner agencies, to identify offenders, disrupt criminal activity, safeguard victims, and provide reassurance to the public.

Relevant: Violence has a significant impact on community safety, public confidence, and quality of life. Addressing violence supports the Metropolitan Police Service's commitment to reducing harm, protecting vulnerable people, tackling VAWG, and increasing trust and confidence in policing.

Time-bound: Implement over a 3-month period, with performance reviewed monthly and a formal evaluation presented to Ward Panel members at the next Ward Panel meeting.
