Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
You can stay informed by signing up to MetEngage, a free messaging service that keeps you connected to what’s happening in your area. Whether its crime updates, safety advice, or news from your local policing team, you’ll get the information that matters to you when it matters most.

Drug Use and Drug Dealing.
Issued 14 April 2026
We are working to create a hostile environment to those who sell drugs, particularly when it increases the vulnerability of those dependent on drugs. We are working in conjunction with outreach workers to deter drug users, and to ensure support is available to help those fighting addiction. We are acting on intelligence and information provided by the community to target the worst offenders and close premises that are causing issues.

Street Drinking.
Issued 14 April 2026
We are working with local security and the LET to tackle and deter street drinking. We have recently carried out a joint operation with the W12 Centre and the council to utilise the new ASB PSPO and will be repeating this. In addition to patrolling areas affected we are using the CPW, CPN, and in some circumstances CBOs to target individuals who are repeatedly engaging in anti social street drinking.
