Theft (from person, theft of pedal bikes, parcel theft’s etc)

• Conducting bike marking events so which assists with recovering stolen bikes and can prevent thefts
• Gathering intel /CCTV of incidents to assist with identifying suspects
• Working alongside Hackney Council to increase patrols in the hot spot areas, share knowledge and conduct joint work
• Working alongside other units in the Met such as TSG to assist with arrests of wanted suspects and to take a robust approach to tackle theft
• Engaging with local business’s to provide crime advice and to conduct joint work

Conduct High visibility patrols to detect and deter criminality
Conduct Phone and Bike marking events to assist with recovering stolen bikes and theft preventio
Gathering intel /CCTV of incidents to assist with identifying suspects
Engaging with any local business in hotspot area’s
Working alongside other units in the Met such as TSG to assist with arrests of wanted suspects and to take a robust approach to tackle theft
Gather intel on any emerging hot spot area’s and if there is a pattern of items being taken

ASB – Personal, Environmental, Vehicle:

• Take robust action on the repeat offenders such as CPW’s, CPN’s, CBO’s
• Utilise our powers for any repeat vehicle’s which have been linked to ASB
• Targeted patrols in the hotspot areas
• Take the appropriate action on any address’s be it residential or commercial that are linked to ASB in the area.
