Shoplifting and theft related offences continue to rise on the ward. We will spend more time concentrating on reducing these offences.

We continue to have hi-viz in hot spots to continue to identify these suspects and drive those who are offending to feed habits, and assist them with rehabilitation through Integrated Offender Management. Long term preventative measures will be put in place such as CBO, CPN and also early identification of offenders to inhibit repeat offending. Days/ Weeks of action are being setup to direct resources on mass to tackle the issue

We are aware of the general affect of drugs in the locality. We are working with our partners to improve the quality of life and how this activity affects our residents, in both terms of littering, drugs, ASB and other crime it generates.

Part of an ongoing initiative to improve and reduce the reoccurrence of this type of ASB. Significant engagement and increased patrols will be seen. We want you to feel safe and urge you to contact us about the opportunity to conduct Walk, Talk and Do about how we can make your environment feel safer. Police will also be conducting proactive policing tactics to deter and inhibit drug dealing in the form of warrants and drug den closures.
