ASB, begging and drug dealing across the ward are a persistent issue especially on estates like Wood end way. At times has led to violence / gang issues

We have been carrying out High Visibility and Reassurance Patrols on estates on the ward. We have utilised powers under the public spaces protection order to tackle ASB issues such as ASB and street drinking. We have used stop and search powers to tackle violence, drug dealing and gang issues in the area. We are working with the local authority Safer Communities team to tackle ASB issues in this area.

Anti-Social Behaviour remains high on the ward including groups of youngsters congregating and acting in an intimidating manner.

We have been carrying out High Visibility Patrols in the area utilising powers under the public spaces protection order to disperse groups and tackle ASB. We have attended community events to provide reassurance to residents and offer Crime prevention advice.

Street drinking by small groups in the area leads to ASB. Often behind the shops along Greenford road, Ridding Lane and David Lloyd gym area.

We have worked with shops and businesses in the area to identify ASB issues and how we can tackle them. We have utilised powers under the Public spaces protection order to enforce ASB powers under the order.
