Violent Crime
Violent Crime committed on Kilburn High Road and the surrounding areas. Working with Kilburn (NW) Safer Neighbourhood Team and Camden Council to prevent and drive offences of this nature down.

Your Kilburn Safer Neighbourhood Team have focussed their hi-visibility patrols on Kilburn High Road, utilising intelligence led stop and search to target and deter offenders. Kilburn SNT have also obtained additional funding to conduct additional hi-visibility mobile and foot patrols of Kilburn High Road under the banner of Op Jenga. This funding has led to 15 additional deployments resulting in 11 arrests, 25 searches, 15 drug seizures and 2 weapon seizures. Kilburn SNT have also conducted multiple live facial recognition operations on Kilburn High Road, resulting in 15 arrests.
Kilburn SNT has also executed a s.23 Misuse of Drugs warrant at Kilburn Snooker Club, resulting in 10 arrests and the seizure of a large quantity of controlled drugs. A closure order was also issued on the venue, preventing it from being used for a period of 3 months.

High volume of Anti-social behaviour linked to recreational drug use in residential estates throughout Kilburn, such as Kingsgate Estate.

Officers from Kilburn SNT have increased their patrols of the various residential estates throughout Kilburn, namely Rowley Way, Kingsgate Estate, Daynor House, Abbey Road etc. During these patrols they have utilised their stop and search powers to identify and deter offenders. ASB warnings have been issued to individuals who are repeatedly causing ASB related issues in these areas.

Concerns were raised by residents at our panel meeting in relation to drug related ASB at Kilburn Grange Park.

Officers from Kilburn Safer Neighbourhood Team have conducted numerous patrols of Kilburn Grange Park and utilised intelligence led stop and search tactics to identify and deter offenders. This activity has led to numerous drug seizures and arrests. Officers have also worked closely with Camden Council and other partners to identify those causing Anti-social behaviour in the park and issue them with ASB warning letters.
Kilburn SNT has worked in partnership with Camden Council to permanently remove a small homeless encampment which was persistently appearing at different locations within the park.
Kilburn SNT are arranging a walkabout of KGP in September with local Councillors and staff from Camden Council to identify further steps that can be taken to reduce ASB within the park.
