There have been reports of drug use, drug dealing, and associated anti‑social behaviour occurring in the vicinity of Eton Road, Eton College Road, and Provost Road, NW3.

Through patrols, intelligence gathering, and information shared by partner agencies, officers have identified individuals involved in anti-social behaviour and drug-related crime in the area. This has highlighted the need for a continued police presence and close partnership working with the Local Authority to address ongoing concerns and improve community safety.

In response, the area has been supported by regular high-visibility patrols, alongside proactive policing activity and joint operations with the Local Authority. These intelligence-led efforts have resulted in a number of stop and searches, the issuing of anti-social behaviour warnings, and the arrest of wanted individuals. This forms part of a coordinated approach to prevent offending, disrupt criminal activity, and improve the safety of those who live, work, and visit the area.
This work remains ongoing. We will continue to review local intelligence, monitor reports from the community, and assess the effectiveness of patrols, enforcement activity, and partnership initiatives. Our aim is to reduce anti-social behaviour, tackle criminality, and provide reassurance to local residents and businesses.

This priority has been established following an increase in reports of drug use and drug dealing in the vicinity of Southfleet, Malden Road, NW5.

Through increased uniform and plain clothes patrols in the area, officers have been able to gather intelligence on individuals involved in criminal and anti-social behaviour. This activity has helped build a clearer understanding of local concerns and identify those responsible for offending.

As a result of this proactive work, officers have arrested two individuals suspected of drug dealing and recovered a significant quantity of drugs. A number of stop and searches have also been carried out, alongside the issuing of anti-social behaviour warnings where appropriate. In addition, joint patrols have taken place with Camden Council to assess ongoing issues and develop longer-term solutions to improve the area.
We are also working closely with partner agencies to identify vulnerable individuals who may need support and ensure they are referred to the most appropriate services.

This work remains ongoing. We will continue to carry out targeted patrols, develop intelligence, and work with local partners to address criminality and anti-social behaviour. Our aim is to improve safety, support vulnerable people, and provide reassurance to those who live, work, and visit the area.

This priority has been established following a recent rise in theft‑related reports in Chalk Farm, with shoplifting being the primary concern. Furthermore, shoplifting is also an Met Police priority.

Through our work with local retailers and targeted patrol activity, we have identified the need for a more visible police presence, stronger crime prevention measures, and more consistent reporting of incidents. This helps us identify repeat offenders more quickly and take appropriate action. We have also recognised the importance of working closely with local businesses to ensure that evidence and information can be obtained promptly and used to support investigations.

To address these concerns, we have increased proactive activity to tackle retail crime in the area. High visibility patrols have been enhanced to deter offending, provide reassurance to retailers, and maintain a visible police presence within the community. Officers have also provided local businesses with crime prevention advice and information leaflets. We continue to encourage retailers to report incidents through Operation Retail, as timely reporting helps us build a clearer picture of offending, identify repeat offenders, and take effective enforcement action where necessary. This supports the Metropolitan Police Service's commitment to neighbourhood policing and strong partnerships with businesses and local communities.

We will continue to monitor reports of retail crime, assess the impact of patrols and prevention initiatives, and work with businesses to improve reporting and evidence gathering. Our aim is to reduce crime, support victims, and increase confidence among local retailers and the wider community.
