Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area (or 'ward'), supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

VEHICLE CRIME - Target motor vehicle crime and traffic offences by way of speed devise operations, stopping traffic offenders and bring offenders to justice. Conducting marked and unmarked proactive patrols and tasking to identify criminal activity.
This is to build on trust within the community and making the roads on the ward safer.

ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR - Hi-Vis patrols targeted at local hotspots for ASB, review trends on the ward of occurring ASB - focused offender management, reassuring the community, building trust with the community and deterring and detecting crime.

SHOPLIFTING - To review local crime data to actively enable targeted patrolling and plain clothed operations. This will enable other considerations in relation to potential search powers to identify other crimes and bring offenders to justice.
