Local officers continue to conduct high visibility patrols in the area. We aim to utilise assets such as TCT and are in the process of planning a number of operations aimed at tackling/disrupting this type of activity. Plain clothes Operations have proved fruitful previously therefore we will aim do do further Ops.

We have had successes in arresting several suspects previously. We are in the process of plans for utilising partners BTP and conducting plain clothes patrols/operations in the area as well as a walk round with the ASB officer for the council along with enforcement officers. We are awaiting news on potential instal of CCTV.

One of our options is to develop local intelligence to obtain search warrants at addresses where drug dealing activity is taking place. Utilise CCTV in the vicinity to identify offenders
